Frequently Asked Questions about Aloe Vera Gel Health Products
Some typical questions you may have...
Q1One of my clients has a horse that suffers
from concussion in his feet through jumping on firm ground. Another
has a racehorse with Ulcers and a third has a horse with a very poor immune
system who is anaemic.
A
Aloe Vera Gel will help all of these and its powers as a healer of ulcers, a
boost to the immune system and an anti inflammatory are well documented.
Q2
How much should I give to a horse or pony?
A
I would suggest a loading dose of 240 ml per day until the first tub is used up
and then 120 ml a day as a maintenance dose. As with other nutritional supplements,
a pony would need half this amount as a loading dose and then 60 ml per day as a
maintenance dose. As with humans dosage is dependant on size and a loading dose
is necessary of double the maintenance amount to get the Aloe Vera Gel into the
system.
Q3
Can I mix it with the horses feed?
A
Yes, I would split the dose in half with 120 ml night and morning and then 60 ml
night and morning after the first tub has been used up. The Gel is sweet and does
not smell so horses and dogs seem to like it. If you have a problem trying
mixing it in with some molichop as this will disguise the Gel.
Q4
When is the best time to feed aloe?
A
We would recommend that Aloe Vera Gel is fed twice a day in the morning and
night feeds. For humans it is best fed on an empty stomach.
Q5
When should I notice the benefits in my animals?
A
We anticipate that you will notice the benefits after two weeks in severe cases
and after four weeks in cases where animals are generally under the weather
rather than having a specific ailment. We urge you to give it to your animal for
at least two months and this will mean that you buy a minimum of 3 tubs -
depending on the dosage. In humans a three month trial is suggested in fact the
longer the better for both so that you can see for yourself what an amazing
product this is.
Q6
How should I store the drink?
A
As with most natural foods, once you’ve opened the bottle, it should be stored in the fridge with the lid tightly closed. Of course during storage, the natural pulp will settle, so you should always shake the bottle before use. Note that the date stamped on the bottom of the container is the bottling date. The 'use by' date is displayed on the packaging.
